"I like this one took 2 hours to draw"

Back in 2011, 2 hours is what I would consider a lot of time to draw something digitally. Quite simply because I hadn't developed the patience, but was patient enough to draw quite easily one of my favorite works of 2011. And with this work, has tested my patience, spending a couple of hours over days over weeks working on this. To me that is a lot of time, I'm surprised that I didn't kick this work to the can to always be left a WIP on my desktop.

I love re-drawing my old works because I remember how I drew them, the old work I used a free drawing program to start off my digital art pathway which was pretty top-of-the-range for a free program, having layers! Except this gal didn't figure out how to use layers until probably 2012-2013, most of the time I would use the magic wand tool and work in sections like that. The first work only used the background layer and done before I learned about the magic wand tool even. This work has about 80-100 layers, spanning from the sketches, shadows, highlights, limbs, invisible layers etc. I'm never organized so its all a odd mix of layers everywhere haha
